Elia Hernandez-Moreno

Elia Hernandez-Moreno is a speaker, author, and community leader focused on addressing poverty, community development, and social justice. She is the founder and CEO of Living Intentionally Ministries, an organization dedicated to serving vulnerable populations through faith-based initiatives. At Living Intentionally Ministries, the mission centers on fostering connection, dignity, and hope for individuals and communities.

Hernandez-Moreno is the author of "Permission to Rest" and "Living Intentionally," which explore her personal journey and offer insights on adding value to others' lives through intentional engagement. Her writing addresses challenges such as adversity, burnout, and the pursuit of purpose, resonating with readers seeking practical strategies for personal and community transformation.

She serves as executive director of Texas Christian Community Development Network, contributing to faith-based community development efforts across Texas. Hernandez-Moreno is also the national program director for Beegle Communication Across Barriers and national director of community outreach for No Excuses University Network of Schools, a network of 250 schools focused on college readiness for students in poverty. Her bilingual skills and expertise in poverty alleviation support organizations and individuals in developing effective outreach strategies.

Hernandez-Moreno has received recognition including the USA Characters Unites Award from USA Network, the Suddenlink Community Impact Award, and the Amarillo Beta Sigma Phi Woman of the Year. She has also been honored with the Amarillo Hispanic Heritage Lifetime Achievement Award and has delivered a TEDx talk at the Lubbock Women's Talk at the Legacy Event Center in Lubbock, Texas.
