Edwin De La Rosa

Edwin De La Rosa is a motivational speaker, accounting professional, and doctoral scholar whose career spans public accounting, higher education, and community engagement. Raised in Brooklyn, New York, De La Rosa attended Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on a collegiate baseball scholarship, graduating with a degree in accounting. He continued his education at Point Park University, earning a Master of Business Administration and entering the accounting industry at Ernst & Young, a Big Four accounting firm.

De La Rosa's academic achievements have been recognized at the university's Outstanding Student Awards. He is also enrolled in Point Park's Ph.D. in Community Engagement program, focusing on the intersection of education, social change, and community development.

In addition to his professional and academic roles, De La Rosa advocates for financial literacy and community empowerment. He has collaborated with the Inclusive Student Leadership Association and Point Park's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to develop and lead financial literacy workshops for university students.
