Edie Fraser

Edie Fraser is an entrepreneur, gender and diversity advocate, and philanthropist whose career spans more than four decades in advancing women in business. Fraser serves as chair and a founder of Women Business Collaborative, a nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating equal position, pay, and power for businesswomen. The collaborative works with more than 83 partner organizations and leads initiatives such as Action Initiatives, Champions of Change, and Companies of Purpose, hosting events including "Ringing the Bell for Equality" at the New York Stock Exchange. Fraser's leadership at Women Business Collaborative reflects a career focused on building institutions that drive systemic change for women across industries.

Fraser was founder and CEO of Public Affairs Group, where she worked with 250 Fortune companies to advance best practices in women and diversity leadership. The company included Diversity Best Practices, Business Women's Network, and Best Practices in Corporate Communications. Fraser also served as managing director of Diversified Search and was founder and CEO of STEMconnector and Million Women Mentors, which generated 2.5 million commitments to mentor. She established and chaired the first Public Affairs Section of the Public Relations Society of America and has received nine Thoth and Silver Anvil Awards for research, strategy, execution, and measurement of major programs.

Fraser's work on global issues began as a Peace Corps desk officer for Africa. She has hosted international conferences and became the first woman to chair the World Affairs Council of DC. She was named one of the Top 50 Pioneers in Diversity by Profiles in Diversity Journal and recognized as one of America's Top Diversity Advocates by DiversityBusiness.com. Fraser has dedicated her career to advancing women's leadership, equity, and inclusion, creating pathways for women to lead and succeed.

Fraser is also an author, with books including "Women Mean Business" with Robyn Spizman and Andi Simon, "Do Your Giving While You're Living" with Robyn Spizman, and "Women's Entrepreneurship in America." Her publications also include "The Chief Diversity Officer" and "The Diversity Primer." Fraser has appeared on eight magazine covers, has been extensively interviewed, and is a global speaker on gender parity, entrepreneurship, and diversity.

Fraser has received more than 85 major awards, including induction into the Enterprising Women Hall of Fame, the inaugural Enterprising Women Business Icon Award, C200's Legacy Award for Lifetime of Service, the Mosaic Award from Diversity Woman, and the Diversity Woman Lifetime Achievement Legacy Award. As chair of Entrepreneurs of Purpose, an initiative of the Enterprising Women Foundation, and through her leadership with Women Business Collaborative, Million Women Mentors, and C200, Fraser continues to mobilize movements that elevate women across industries and communities.
