Drew Green is a country music singer-songwriter known for blending country, pop, and R&B influences in Nashville. Before launching his career as a performer, Green gained recognition as a songwriter, co-writing Florida Georgia Line's "Colorado" with HARDY and Hunter Phelps, which appeared on the duo's Billboard Top Country Album, "Can't Say I Ain't Country." He also co-wrote Conner Smith's "I Hate Alabama." With a catalog of more than 1,000 songs, Green identifies as a songwriter first, using his songwriting foundation to inform his artistry.
Green's journey to recording artist began after earning a finance degree and working at a bank, where he declined a promotion to pursue music. He performed in the house band at Tootsie's Orchid Lounge while writing songs daily. His breakthrough came with the recording of "Colorado," leading to a publishing deal with Cornman Music and a subsequent record deal with Villa 40/Sony Music Nashville.
Green's debut single, "Little More Be Alright," received airplay on SiriusXM's The Highway and accumulated millions of streams on Spotify. He followed with two EPs, Dirt Boy, Vol. 1 and Dirt Boy, Vol. 2, the latter featuring the streaming hit "Hooch." His single "Good Ol' Man" achieved RIAA Gold certification, and tracks such as "She Got That" surpassed 20 million streams on Spotify. Pandora recognized him as an Artist to Watch, and he opened for Mitchell Tenpenny on a headlining tour, performing across 30 stages in 15 states.
Green's song "Lotta Bit Of You" gained viral traction on TikTok, generating over two million views and more than 22 million streams. This success led to a deal with RECORDS Nashville, where he released the EP Whiskey On Whiskey, featuring "Lotta Bit Of You" and a reimagined version of "Colorado" with HARDY. Green later released his debut full-length album, the 18-track What You're Looking For, which showcases a range of country anthems and ballads. The album was released the same week as his Grand Ole Opry debut, which Green dedicated to Brett James, who had signed him to his first Nashville deal.
