She is a Licensed Gerontology Social Worker and an award-winning Alzheimer's and dementia educator with over 25 years of experience coordinating care for aging and vulnerable populations.

Smith is the owner and CEO of Diversified Training Consultants Group, LLC, a Geriatric Care Management practice located in Columbia, SC and the spokesperson for SYNERGY HomeCare, the fastest growing home care franchisor in the nation.
