Dr. Lucy Postolov

Dr. Lucy Postolov, DACM, L.Ac., is a practitioner of integrative and Chinese medicine based in Los Angeles, specializing in acupuncture, neurology, and holistic health. Postolov earned a medical degree with a specialty in neurology in the former Soviet Union, followed by a master's degree in acupuncture from Emperor's College in Los Angeles and a doctoral degree from Pacific College of Chinese Medicine. After completing her master's degree, she established an Oriental medicine practice at a West Los Angeles clinic and later opened her own acupuncture and herbology treatment center, the Postolova Acupuncture Group, in Brentwood.

Postolov joined the Department of Integrative Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as a consultant and acupuncturist, becoming the first licensed acupuncturist to be granted full privileges at the institution. She also served as an independent consultant for the Cedars-Sinai Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute and received board certification in integrative medicine from the American Association of Integrative Medicine. Her clinical practice focuses on oncology support, fertility, women's health, and anti-aging treatments, collaborating with oncologists, reproductive endocrinologists, OBGYNs, neuroscientists, gastroenterologists, addiction specialists, and sports rehabilitation experts in Los Angeles.

Postolov is a contributing author to several medical publications, including "The Handbook of Wellness Medicine" published by Cambridge University Press, "The Guidebook of Sexual Medicine" published by A & W Publishing Company, and "The Textbook of Clinical Sexual Medicine" published by Springer. She has lectured internationally and across the United States at institutions such as UCLA, Tulane School of Medicine, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Tower Oncology Cancer Research Foundation, and Cancer Support Community/Benjamin Center. Postolov has appeared as an expert in traditional Oriental medicine on news programs and has been featured on the KCET program "Healthweek" and ABC's "Good Day L.A."

Postolov serves on the Physicians Advisory Board of the Cancer Support Community/Los Angeles and provides care to veterans in Los Angeles through the Veterans Choice and Tri-West programs. She founded Cannapy Health, a CBD company, to support patients managing pain and emotional challenges. Her work in holistic and multidisciplinary care has been recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as one of the "Women Who Make a Difference" and by the Israel Cancer Research Fund with the "Woman of Action" award.
