Dr. Judith Wright

Dr. Judith Wright is a bestselling author, educator, life coach, and corporate consultant recognized for her work in human development and personal transformation. Wright first gained national attention by developing innovative education and early-childhood development programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, as well as demonstration programs for college students with disabilities. These experiences informed her approach to human potential, leading her to apply her insights to a broader audience and contribute to the fields of leadership development and personal growth.

Wright is known for coining the concept of soft addictions, which she defined as habits that are harmful to an individual's life but not potentially fatal, such as overeating or procrastination, distinguishing them from hard addictions like alcohol or drug dependency. This concept is the foundation of her books, including "There Must Be More Than This" and "The Soft Addiction Solution," which explore the impact of soft addictions and provide strategies for overcoming them to achieve greater fulfillment and meaning. She is also the author of "Transformed: The Science of Spectacular Living," "The One Decision," and "The Heart of the Fight."

Wright co-founded the Wright Foundation and Wright Graduate University for the Realization of Human Potential, an accredited institution offering master's and doctoral programs in transformational leadership and coaching, as well as graduate certificates in social and emotional intelligence.
