Dr. Cynthia “Cindy” Williams is a nationally recognized keynote speaker, healing advocate and author who transformed the tragic loss of her son into a mission for good. She founded Love From Afar – The Christopher Allen Williams Foundation and Parents Against Distracted Driving, which empower youth and families through emotional healing, mentoring and safe-driving awareness. A certified teen life coach and conflict-resolution specialist with doctoral degrees in humanities and social justice, Dr. Williams has earned numerous proclamations, including induction into the Apex Museum of Women in History and the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
Through workshops, keynotes and her Vibe Check Van mobile mental-health initiative, Dr. Williams equips communities with trauma-recovery tools and promotes restorative justice. She speaks on youth mental health, safe driving, mediation and turning adversity into purpose, and is the author of the memoir "Concrete Soil" and other works on grief and resilience. She continues to advocate tirelessly for safer roads and healthier families.
