Dr. Corey Hicks

Dr. Corey Hicks is a three-time NCAA All-American decathlete and top 10 U.S. Olympic hopeful whose athletic career was redirected following an injury. Hicks was also ranked number one among all Historically Black Colleges as a decathlon standout in track and field and developed his skills under the guidance of track and field coach Brooks Johnson. After his injury, Hicks transitioned into a role as a sports analyst for NBC Channel 3 News, maintaining his involvement in the Olympic community.

Seeking new opportunities, Hicks entered the pharmaceutical industry and later pursued a Ph.D. in health and human performance at Concordia University Chicago. This academic achievement enabled him to serve as a medical science liaison and medical director, focusing on medical affairs and healthcare education. With more than 23 years of experience, Hicks has established himself as a healthcare advocate and motivational speaker, delivering training in health and wellness, leadership, stress management, emotional intelligence, and self-empowerment.

Hicks is the founder and CEO of Three V's LLC, a platform for corporate training and coaching. His expertise in sports entrepreneurship and marketing for major corporations informs his approach to leadership development. He is the author of "Values, Vision, and Versatility" and "Vision of Inspiration," which articulate the principles that have shaped his career in healthcare, sports, and personal development.

Hicks has been recognized as a KSU Hall of Fame inductee, a BRAG Magazine Influencer of the Season, and a Global Motivation Award recipient. He teaches sports entrepreneurship in the University of London's online PGCert International Sports Management program, sharing his knowledge with aspiring athlete-entrepreneurs. Hicks's career demonstrates the application of a champion's mindset across sports, healthcare, and leadership training.
