Doug Lemov Biography
Doug Lemov is the author of "Teach Like a Champion," now in its 3.0 version, which describes the techniques used by high performing classroom teachers to achieve outlier results. Teach Like a Champion is known not only for its clear practical guidance but for the videos of hundreds of classroom teachers that accompany it. The TLAC books have sold more than a million copies and been translated into more than a dozen languages.
His latest book, the "Teach Like a Champion Guide to the Science of Reading," co-written with Colleen Driggs and Erica Woolway, looks at how cognitive science can be better applied to the teaching of reading.
Lemov holds a BA in English from Hamilton College, an MA in English Literature from Indiana University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
