In 2010 Donald and the Green Bay Packers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV giving Donald his first Super Bowl ring.
According to a 2012 poll conducted by the Business Journal of Milwaukee, Donald was named the most marketable athlete in Wisconsin. Donald added another trophy to his collection in 2012 after winning Season 14 of Dancing With the Stars.
Donald can compete on both the football field and the dance floor while winning the hearts of viewers on a national scale. Donald hosts the statewide TV show Inside the Huddle and a weekly radio show with AM 620 WTMJ, Wisconsin's #1 rated radio station. His most recent health and wellness book, The 3D Body Revolution: The Ultimate Workout + Nutrition Blueprint to Get Healthy and Lean Donald Driver, was published in 2017.
Donald was born in Houston, TX on February 2, 1975. Driver was the middle child in a five-sibling family where he earned his nickname "Quickie" due to his parents chasing him around the house and because of his quick learning skills. Donald's childhood wasn't easy; he lived out of a U-Haul truck for a period of time during his early teens after a collection agency confiscated his family's possessions. Donald spent multiple nights in motel rooms that his mother, Faye Gray, purchased with food stamps. In order to help support his family, Driver turned to a life of crime which included stealing cars and dealing drugs. "Hey, when things are so bad you have to live in the back of a U-Haul truck with your mom and four siblings for a month, you go with whatever skills you have. Although it was hard, Faye decided the best thing for 14 year old Donald would be to move in with his grandmother, Betty Lofton.
Donald shined as an athlete in high school, lettering four times each in track, football, basketball and baseball at Milby High in Houston. Donald was a Texas All-State honorable mention in Football where he played wide receiver, defensive back and returned kickoffs. Donald continued his football career when he committed to Alcorn State in Mississippi on an athletic scholarship. Donald was a two-year starter while at Alcorn State where he recorded 88 career receptions for 1,933 yards and 17 touchdowns. Donald also competed in track at Alcorn State where he shined in the high jump and earned all-conference honors his senior year. Donald also qualified for the 1996 Olympic Field Trials and could have likely qualified for the 2000 Sydney Olympics in the high jump competition.
But Donald will tell you the best thing he did at Alcorn had nothing to do with sports. While at Alcorn, Donald would meet his future wife, Betina. Donald and Betina were married in 2000; they have three children together, a son Cristian, and two daughters Christina and Charity
