Dion Jensen

Dion Jensen is a New Zealand-based military veteran, keynote speaker, and global influencer whose career spans military service, law enforcement, and close protection operations. Born into a military family, Jensen joined the New Zealand Army and deployed to Bosnia, later serving in Iraq. After his military service, he joined the New Zealand Police Force and subsequently worked as a close protection operative in the Middle East. Jensen’s experiences with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) informed his focus on mental health, crisis leadership, and resilience.

Jensen authored "The Good News About PTSD," recognized as the first book to present a positive perspective on PTSD, challenging prevailing narratives and positioning the condition as a potential advantage. His "Trauma" modality is based on this clinically endorsed book and program. Jensen’s "Transition" modality draws from his second book and program, "The VIP of Mental Health," while his "Evolution" phase is rooted in his entrepreneurial program, "The Lionpreneur Program."

Transitioning into the corporate sector, Jensen served as Regional Operations Manager for Asia Pacific in the security and risk management industry. As founder and CEO of The Lion Academy, he developed the "Trauma, Transition, Evolution" ethos and authored the "#CrisisLeadership Series," which gained significant traction on LinkedIn. He also presented a three-part series on Sun Tzu’s "Art of War" for Business on Singapore National Radio, highlighting his expertise in strategy, leadership, and tactical execution.

Jensen was selected as the first Inspirational Goalcast Speaker of the decade, with his speech "Make Peace With The Mirror" reaching a global audience. He is the founder of The Lion Academy and Protecting Women Global, organizations that deliver solutions-focused education and support through "The Pacific Way," serving a diverse international student base. His approach, aligned with DSM-5 standards, offers tailored, scalable mental health and resilience programs for military personnel, law enforcement, women, youth, and businesses.

Jensen’s work as a solutions architect includes speaking, training, and consulting for corporate, government, and frontline communities.
