Diane Darling

Diane Darling is a keynote speaker, author, instructor, and leadership coach with more than two decades of experience in professional networking strategy. Darling is the founder and president of Effective Networking, Inc., and has researched, developed, and educated on the impact of professional networking strategies in individual career development and business performance. Her approach emphasizes that networking is about nurturing relationships before they are needed, focusing on practical strategies to turn small talk into meaningful conversations.

McGraw-Hill commissioned Darling to write "The Networking Survival Guide" before the rise of social media platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn. The book went into a second printing shortly after its release. Her books, including "The Networking Survival Guide" and "Networking for Career Success," have been translated into nine languages. The Wall Street Journal has featured Darling's workshop, and NBC Nightly News has covered her work.
