Devin Alexander is best known for having spent a decade as “The Chef” of the extraordinarily popular TV franchise, The Biggest Loser. Unique approach to healthy cooking, and her own motivational story of maintaining a 70-pound weight loss, cemented her as THE media expert for ‘decadence without consequence’ for over two decades. Her new book “The Land of Secret Superpowers: Vegetables” is her first publication for children. Geared towards toddlers and preschoolers, the delightfully illustrated book entices little ones to open their eyes (and their mouths) to the heroic possibilities of the delicious foods we are all meant to eat, setting them up to be healthy humans and help set parents up for peace in the kitchen! It also shows how the vegetables are grown featuring a multicultural cast of illustrated children. Available January 24, 2023.

Alexander is also a popular resource for diabetes and has worked with Abbot Freestyle Libre and American Diabetes Association.

In 2018, Alexander adopted her foster daughter from the Los Angeles foster care system and “Mom” is now her proudest title. She is constantly adapting and channeling her food and nutrition knowledge to share with her “Mom Tribe,” imparting realistic tips and her secrets of how she gets her daughter to “attack” platters of veggies and devour healthy foods many adults have not even tried. The response she received was the impetus behind “The Land of Secret Superpowers: Vegetables” along with her Fit Mom Fit Kids platform. Alexander’s parenting videos have become viral sensations, racking-up as many as 6.7M views, many with hundreds and thousands of shares.

Alexander continues to passionately advocate for the 425,000+ precious children currently in the U.S. foster care system. In her “spare time” she plays competitive tennis and with her daughter Cayenne, frequents aquariums and as many other fun, educational events as possible. They live in Southern California.
