Deo Kato

Deo Kato is an endurance athlete, fitness coach, and activist whose achievements have drawn international attention. He made history as the first person to run from Cape Town to London, a journey that highlighted the story of human migration from Africa to the rest of the world. The endeavor inspired hundreds of thousands of people globally and cemented his status as a leading figure in endurance athletics. The Uganda-born trail runner became the first person to run from Cape Town to London, covering 200 marathons across more than 20 countries over a year and a half.

As the founder of Deoruns, Kato specialises in building confidence through outdoor fitness activities. With more than six years of experience in the industry, he provides one-on-one personal training sessions and leads group outdoor experiences, ranging from trail running to mountain adventures. His approach combines rigorous training with a passion for connecting clients to nature, ensuring participants achieve their fitness goals while enjoying the outdoors. He continuously seeks new methods to refine his skills and enhance the services offered to his clients.
