Debbie Williams is a licensed hair practitioner, board-certified nutritionist, holistic health coach, educator, and author whose career spans more than 25 years at the intersection of hair science and whole-body wellness. Williams is recognized as a leading authority on hair loss and scalp disorders in the Southeast, building her career on the belief that there is a connection between hair and health, and that underlying health problems cause most hair and scalp issues. Her expertise includes trichology, clinical nutrition, and holistic healing, making her a credentialed voice in a field where these disciplines rarely converge.

Williams began her professional journey as a cosmetologist specializing in natural hair. She observed that many clients experienced hair loss and thinning despite proper hair care, and when medical evaluations revealed no clear cause, she pursued training as a trichologist, specializing in hair and scalp disorders. After the loss of her older sister, who struggled with hair loss due to lupus, Williams became an advocate for individuals whose hair loss is linked to health conditions and chronic diseases. This personal experience motivated her to pursue board certification in nutrition, aiming to bridge the gap between health and hair by emphasizing the impact of nutrition on overall well-being.

Williams formulated Pure 7 Cosmeceuticals Hair Care, a line offering natural solutions for scalp disorders and hair loss, with products designed to address dandruff, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, hair loss, eczema, and other scalp-related conditions. She also launched the platform Ask Debbie About Hair & Health, which evolved from a blog and YouTube channel into a global community. Williams is known for her viral rice water video, which sparked a worldwide rice water challenge and inspired numerous videos and articles about the rice water rinse.
