Dean DeBiase

Dean DeBiase is a Silicon Valley CEO and business leader known for transforming companies in sectors such as metagaming, media, beauty, retail, ecommerce, services, and technology. DeBiase has built a career guiding organizations through expansion, turnaround, roll-up, spin-out, divestiture, management buyout, SPAC, mergers and acquisitions, and IPO phases. Inc. magazine has referred to DeBiase as a "Growth Guru." He has led public, private, and family-enterprise companies, contributing to the creation of hundreds of products, thousands of jobs, and significant revenue and value generation.

DeBiase's executive experience includes involvement in notable Silicon Valley deals. He served as chairman of ÄKTA, which was acquired by Salesforce; CEO of Autoweb, which went public and was later acquired by Autobytel; CEO of Imagination Network/WorldPlay Entertainment, acquired by Verizon; and CEO of TNS Media, acquired by WPP. DeBiase has also held executive roles and CEO positions at Fortune 500 subsidiaries, including FedEx, AT&T, AOL, WPP, Western Union, Anixter, Arris, and LG Electronics. Early in his career, he contributed to the development of the online games industry, led a company acquisition by America Online, and expanded WorldPlay into a leading AOL channel.

In addition to his corporate roles, DeBiase is active in thought leadership and education. He is a senior KIN fellow and lecturer of entrepreneurship and innovation at Kellogg School of Management, a technology fellow at Northwestern University, a board leadership fellow at the National Association of Corporate Directors, and an advisor to the National Science Foundation. DeBiase is a Forbes contributor and co-author of the business book "The Big Moo," which he co-created with Seth Godin and Malcolm Gladwell. He is a frequent media guest on CNBC, NBC, FOX, CNN, and ABC, and has served as a CEO guest host on NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice."
