David Perlmutter

Dr. David Perlmutter is a board-certified neurologist specializing in neuroscience, nutrition, and preventive medicine. Perlmutter is a six-time New York Times bestselling author whose work examines the relationship between diet and brain health. He serves on the Board of Directors and is a Fellow of the American College of Nutrition, and is the Director of Neuroscience Research at Bryan Therapeutics. Perlmutter is a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease and has published research in peer-reviewed journals including Archives of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and The Journal of Applied Nutrition.

Perlmutter's books, published in 32 languages, include the New York Times bestseller "Grain Brain: The Surprising Truth About Wheat, Carbs and Sugar," which has more than 1 million copies in print.
