David Nasser

David Nasser is a Christian evangelist, author, and pastor whose personal journey has influenced his ministry and message. Born in Iran, Nasser left the country with his family during the Iranian Revolution, spending nearly a year in exile before settling in the United States. After experiencing challenges with cultural assimilation during a period of heightened Iranian-American tensions, he converted to Christianity at age 18. This conversion from his Muslim heritage to Christianity became the foundation of a ministry spanning more than three decades.

Shortly after his conversion, Nasser founded D. Nasser Outreach, a ministry that expanded through partnerships with organizations such as the Billy Graham Association, Youth Specialties, and Student Life. He later established Christ City Church in Birmingham, Alabama, serving as lead pastor. Nasser's speaking platform grew to reach hundreds of thousands of people annually through churches, conferences, festivals, and media. He is the author of several books, including "A Call to Die," which sold more than 125,000 copies independently before its retail release, as well as "Glory Revealed: How the Invisible God Makes Himself Known," "A Call to Grace," and "Jumping Through Fires: The Gripping Story of One Man's Escape from Revolution to Redemption." The "Glory Revealed" project included a companion worship album featuring artists such as Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael W. Smith, and Mark Hall of Casting Crowns, and inspired a national tour.

Nasser served as senior vice president for spiritual development at Liberty University, where he was campus pastor. In this role, he oversaw the Office of Spiritual Development, including Convocation—North America's largest weekly gathering of young people—as well as the university's Center for Global Engagement and Campus Church. His tenure included guiding the student body through a turbulent period, during which he addressed students' concerns and affirmed the validity of their frustrations. After leaving Liberty, Nasser and his wife, Jennifer, moved to Franklin, Tennessee, to lead the nonprofit organization For Others Collective.

Nasser continues to speak at churches, conferences, and festivals, and consults with organizations on culture development, leadership, and systems building. His personal story of escape, reinvention, and faith, combined with decades of pastoral and organizational leadership, provides a distinctive perspective for audiences across generations and backgrounds.
