Daniel Lubetzky

Daniel Lubetzky is a social entrepreneur, investor, and civic leader whose work spans multiple industries and focuses on equipping individuals to think flexibly, solve problems creatively, and develop durable solutions to complex global challenges. The son of a Holocaust survivor, Lubetzky has dedicated efforts to building bridges across divisions, with early initiatives centered on fostering economic cooperation in the Middle East. This work led to the founding of PeaceWorks Inc., a business that promotes cooperative ventures among neighbors in the region. Lubetzky also established the OneVoice Movement, an international grassroots organization empowering Israelis and Palestinians to encourage elected leaders toward a two-state solution. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics and international relations from Trinity University and a Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School.

Lubetzky founded KIND Snacks, growing it from a basement operation into a prominent brand in the snacks industry, recognized for its focus on health transparency and social impact. KIND, valued at several billion dollars when acquired by Mars, operates with a not-only-for-profit model and aims to foster kindness and empathy in society. Lubetzky also established The KIND Foundation to further this mission. Drawing on his experience in the food industry, he founded Feed the Truth, an independent nonprofit dedicated to improving public health by prioritizing truth, transparency, and integrity in the food system.

Lubetzky is the author of the New York Times bestseller "Do the KIND Thing: Think Boundlessly, Work Purposefully, Live Passionately," which outlines the principles behind KIND Snacks. After serving as a guest on "Shark Tank" for five seasons, Lubetzky joined the cast full-time, further expanding his influence in entrepreneurship and business investment. Through Camino Partners, Lubetzky and his team support leaders building businesses that take a long-term approach to enhancing consumers' lives. He also launched "Build or Break," a weekly podcast that explores the defining failures, setbacks, and breakthrough moments of entrepreneurs, creators, athletes, entertainers, and business leaders.

Lubetzky is the founder of Builders, a movement designed to help people move beyond divisive mindsets by uncovering common ground and building durable solutions that reflect the will of the people. His work in creating economically sustainable and socially impactful businesses has been recognized by BusinessWeek, Time, Advertising Age, and Entrepreneur, as well as by organizations such as the World Economic Forum and the Skoll Foundation. President Barack Obama named Lubetzky a Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship in recognition of his investment in emerging entrepreneurs. His honors include The King Center's Beloved Community Award, the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, Columbia Business School's Botwinick Prize in Business Ethics, The Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award for Civility and Compassion, and the Courage Against Hate Award from the ADL at the Never Is Now Summit.
