Dabin

Dabin Lee, known professionally as Dabin, is a Korean-Canadian musician, DJ, and record producer recognized for his contributions to melodic bass and electronic music. A JUNO-nominated producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and live performer, Lee blends electronic, rock, and pop influences in his work. He began producing electronic music after learning piano, drums, and guitar during his teens, releasing his first tracks through Kannibalen Records early in his career.

Lee developed a following with singles such as "Electropolitics" and "Awakening" before releasing "Two Hearts," his Juno-nominated debut album. He followed with "Wild Youth" on Seeking Blue, which he later reimagined as an acoustic EP. His third studio album, "Between Broken," further established his presence in the electronic music scene. Across albums including "Wild Youth," "Between Broken," and "Aura Park," Lee has collaborated with artists such as Skylar Grey, Stephanie Poetri, LØ Spirit, Illenium, Seven Lions, SLANDER, Said The Sky, and Black Tiger Sex Machine, expanding his reach within the EDM community.

Lee's collaborations have included supporting roles as guitarist on Illenium's Awake, Awake 2.0, and Ascend concert tours. He worked with Illenium and Lights on the track "Hearts On Fire," which reached number 11 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Songs chart. Lee also participated in Illenium's Trilogy concert at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the venue's first music concert event. His single "Holding On" gained additional exposure through iHeartRadio, where it became the No. 1 added song of the week after he was named iHeartRadio Future Star.

Lee is known for his genre-blending live performances, incorporating electric guitar, synthesizers, and drum pads. He introduced the Sanctuary Live Band, bringing a full-band approach to electronic music, and performed at venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre, where he was reported to be the first Korean electronic music artist to headline the venue.

In addition to his recording and touring work, Lee has taken on roles as a community builder and festival curator. He curates Stay In Bloom, a two-day music festival at Stanford University's Frost Amphitheater, described as a celebration of music, art, and community. The festival expanded to New York City following its initial success. Lee continues to influence the electronic music industry through his performances, collaborations, and event curation.
