Craig Morgan

Craig Morgan is a celebrated country singer-songwriter and U.S. Army veteran. Joining the military at 18 as an emergency medical technician, he served nearly ten years of active duty—including with the elite 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions, deploying to Panama in 1989—and continued in the Army Reserve before reenlisting in 2023 at the Grand Ole Opry. His early passion for music—instilled by a musical father and a childhood performance spotted by Minnie Pearl—led him to sing demos in Nashville after military service .

Morgan released his self-titled debut album on Atlantic Records in 2000, launching a successful career with 17 Billboard-charting singles and signature hits like “That’s What I Love About Sunday,” which topped the country charts for four weeks and earned a Year-End No. 1 spot. He continued to rack up Top 10 singles—such as “Almost Home,” “Redneck Yacht Club,” “Little Bit of Life,” “International Harvester,” “Love Remembers,” and “Bonfire.” Inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2008, Morgan has recorded multiple studio albums, including his deeply personal 2020 release God, Family, Country, and EPs Enlisted and American Soundtrack.

Morgan's life has been sharply shaped by tragedy and service. Following the tragic loss of his son Jerry in 2016, he penned the heartfelt ballad “The Father, My Son and the Holy Ghost” and released a memoir titled "God, Family, Country," recounting his time in Panama alongside the CIA and efforts combating sex trafficking in Thailand. A committed humanitarian, he has performed on military bases worldwide, supporting veterans through the USO and Operation Finally Home.
