Courtney Gray Haupt

Courtney Gray Haupt is the global health co-chair and U.S. health chair at Edelman, where she leads one of the world’s largest health communications practices. With expertise in biomedical innovation, health policy, and corporate reputation, Haupt oversees a global network of more than 400 health specialists and guides strategic initiatives to strengthen trust in science, health systems, and the broader health sector. She is instrumental in producing Edelman’s annual Trust Barometer Special Report on Trust and Health, a benchmark study that shapes industry dialogue on public confidence in healthcare.

Throughout her career, Haupt has advised organizations such as Johns Hopkins, Mayo Clinic, Wellcome Trust, Merck, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson on issues including vaccine confidence, health misinformation, health equity, and mental health. She has led campaigns that bridge public and private sectors, engaging policymakers, healthcare professionals, and patient communities to address topics such as drug pricing, antimicrobial resistance, and behavioral health.
