Outside of his work in AI, Grennan has been named a Huffington Post Game Changer of the Year for his humanitarian work with trafficked children in Nepal and was given the Unsung Hero of Compassion Award by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in 2014. He has a BA from the University of Virginia and an MBA from NYU Stern, and lives in New Canaan with his wife Liz and his two children.
