CloZee

Chloé Herry, known professionally as CloZee, is a French musician, DJ, producer, and label manager recognized for her innovative contributions to electronic music. Herry's sound blends bass-heavy rhythms, world music influences, glitch elements, and intricate sound design, a style she and her audience refer to as "world bass." Her early musical foundation began with classical guitar, inspired by performances from John Williams and Vicente Amigo, and developed through five years of formal lessons. After high school, Herry completed a two-year audio-engineering program, where she learned to use FL Studio, laying the groundwork for her career as a producer.

At 19, Herry released her first track to SoundCloud under the name CloZee, a variation of a family nickname. She followed with her first official EP, "Dubious," and self-released two albums, "Remixes" and "Guitar Covers," showcasing her interpretations of other artists' work. While initially encountering mixed reception in France, Herry found greater support in the United States, particularly in cities such as Oakland, Chicago, and Denver. Her track "Koto," released through Otodayo Records and featured on the YouTube channel Mr. Suicide Sheep, significantly expanded her audience, accumulating millions of plays. Herry received the Best International Newcomer Award at the UK Glitch-Hop Award.

Herry's debut album, "Evasion," achieved commercial success, debuting at number 11 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Album Sales chart. She followed with "Neon Jungle," an album inspired by the natural world, and later launched her own label, Odyzey Music, to support underground bass music artists. "Neon Jungle" was remixed by artists including Lane 8, Opiuo, Emancipator, and Of the Trees, and was succeeded by the "Nouvelle Era" EP. Odyzey Music has curated stage takeovers at festivals such as Electric Zoo and Sonic Bloom, as well as Herry's own Voyage Festival.

Herry released her third album, "Microworlds," and has performed at major festivals including Coachella and Lollapalooza. She has appeared on the cover of DJ Mag and performed internationally in regions such as France, India, and Australia. Herry is recognized as a leading figure in bass music and electronic music production.

Herry also collaborates with producer LSDREAM as the duo LSZEE. Their partnership has included performances at Electric Forest, Bass Canyon, North Coast Music Festival, and sold-out shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Brooklyn Mirage. Their self-titled collaborative album and subsequent tour featured unique sets and lineups in each city. From her classical guitar background to headlining renowned venues, Herry continues to influence the evolution of electronic music.
