Christopher Shelley is a New York-based wedding officiant and Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant known for his innovative approach to wedding ceremonies. Shelley is the founder and owner of Illuminating Ceremonies, where he crafts personalized and engaging wedding ceremonies that emphasize storytelling and connection. His ceremonies are recognized for their blend of professionalism, humor, and sensitivity, drawing on his experience in live performance to adapt seamlessly to unexpected moments during events.

Shelley is the author of the wedding planning guide "Best. Ceremony. Ever.," published by Countryman Press, an imprint of W.W. Norton and Company. The book offers practical advice for couples and officiants, covering topics such as setting the atmosphere, telling a compelling love story, and preparing wedding vows.
