Christopher Abbott is an actor known for his work in film, television, and theater. Abbott moved to New York and studied acting at the Herbert Berghof Studio. He made his feature film debut in "Martha Marcy May Marlene" and appeared on Broadway in the revival of the play "The House of Blue Leaves." On Broadway, Abbott performed opposite Ben Stiller and Edie Falco, playing Ronnie Shaughnessy.

Abbott gained recognition for his role as Charlie Dattolo in the HBO series "Girls." He left the series after the second season, citing a lack of connection to the character. Abbott joined the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's "Death of a Salesman," performing alongside Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf, a performance that earned him a Tony nomination.
