Christina Gerakiteys

Christina Gerakiteys is an innovation catalyst, futurist, and international keynote speaker focused on empowering leaders to harness exponential technologies to address global challenges. As founder and CEO of UtopiaX and co-CEO of SingularityU Australia, Gerakiteys leads initiatives to educate and inspire leaders in the application of emerging technologies for social impact.

After attending the Executive Program at SingularityU at NASA Ames in Silicon Valley, Gerakiteys was granted the license to open the first SingularityU Chapter in Australia. SingularityU Australia is the first country partner in the Pacific region and the first to be led by an all-female executive team. Since co-founding SingularityU Australia with Lisa Andrews, the community has grown to approximately 25,000 members.

Gerakiteys has built a portfolio of ventures dedicated to reshaping how individuals and organizations approach innovation. As CEO of UtopiaX and founder of IdeaSparx, an innovation platform, she supports change-makers in developing strategies for innovation and technology adoption. She is the author of "Celebrating Success One Failure at a Time" and is recognized as an international keynote speaker, facilitator, and program designer, known for interactive educational experiences that leverage design thinking, purpose, engagement, and play. Her programs encourage Moonshot thinking and have been developed for organizations including Deloitte, IAG, Austrade, Bupa, Investa, and Dulux.

Gerakiteys has delivered keynotes and workshops for organizations such as Singularity University in Silicon Valley, Entrepreneurs Organisation, Front End of Innovation Conference in Boston, Vivid Ideas in Sydney, Creative Innovation in Melbourne, Inspiring Women Leaders in the Digital Era Congress in Spain, and SXSW in both Sydney and Austin, Texas. She is an accredited SU Faculty member at SingularityU. Gerakiteys writes for several publications, hosts the podcast "Inspired for Impact," and contributes to the award-winning Front-End Innovation blog.

In addition to her speaking and entrepreneurial work, Gerakiteys is committed to community impact and lifelong learning. She serves as an ambassador for Stone and Chalk Tech Central in Sydney, sits on the International Advisory Board for W Startup Community Spain, and is a member of the Hunter Medical Research Foundation. She is also an ambassador for Oceanlovers Global, serves on the Advisory Board for One Million Women, and is an Action Council Member for the Atlantic Council. Gerakiteys has produced the annual Hunter Innovation Festival for 15 years and lectures in business, innovation, and entrepreneurship. She is pursuing doctorate studies in creativity and innovation.
