Chris Tomlin

Chris Tomlin is a contemporary Christian music artist, worship leader, and songwriter. Some of his most well-known songs are "How Great Is Our God," "Our God," "Whom Shall I Fear (God of Angel Armies)," "Amazing Grace (My Chains are Gone)," and his cover of "Good Good Father."

Tomlin won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for his 2010 album And If Our God Is For Us. Because of his songs' popularity in many contemporary churches, TIME magazine stated he may be the "most often sung artist anywhere."

Tomlin's 2013 album Burning Lights, which featured the hit single "Whom Shall I Fear (God of Angel Armies)," debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, becoming the fourth Contemporary Christian music album in history to do so.

In October of 2018, Tomlin released his tenth studio album, Holy Roar. long with a book titled "Holy Roar: 7 Words That Will Change the Way You Worship," co-written with minister Darren Whitehead, and a Spotify-exclusive "Holy Roar Podcast." Holy Roar was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album at the 62nd Grammy Awards.

Chris Tomlin & Friends (July 2020) is a genre-crossing collaboration featuring country artists like Thomas Rhett, Lady A, Florida Georgia Line, and more. It debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums and No. 6 on Top Country Albums.

Always (Sept 9, 2022) is an album inspired by reflections during the pandemic and time with family, this worship-focused album includes 13 tracks co-written with Elevation Worship, Steffany Gretzinger, Brandon Lake, and others.

Live From Good Friday (Mar 15, 2024) is a live worship album recorded during his signature “Good Friday Nashville” event. Tomlin donated the album’s profits and had sold out the event swiftly.

His book, "How Great Is Our God: Living a Worship‑Led Life in a Me‑Driven World" (2024). Coinciding with the live album release, the book offers reflections on worship beyond music.

His 2025 and 2026 tours include strong charitable components—benefiting charities like World Vision, supporting food banks, and implementing eco-friendly practices like biodiesel buses and digital ticketing.
