Chris Paul

Chris Paul is recognized as one of the top point guards in professional basketball history. Selected fourth overall in the NBA Draft by the New Orleans Hornets, Paul quickly established himself by earning the NBA Rookie of the Year Award and setting a high standard at his position. Over a 21-season career, he played for the New Orleans Hornets, Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs, and returned to the Clippers. Paul retired as the second all-time leader in both assists and steals, leading the league in assists five times and in steals a record six times.

Paul's career includes 12 NBA All-Star selections, 11 All-NBA honors, and nine All-Defensive honors. Paul's philanthropic work is notable within the sports and community sectors. Through the Chris Paul Family Foundation, he supports education, health, wellness, and leadership development in underserved communities. He co-founded the Social Change Fund United with Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony to empower communities of color. Paul is an advocate for Historically Black Colleges and Universities, partnering with Harvard Business School to bring its Entertainment, Media and Sports program to select HBCUs and collaborating with the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame to establish the annual Chris Paul HBCU Challenge.
