Chris Do

Chris Do is an Emmy Award-winning designer, director, strategist, and educator whose career spans more than three decades at the intersection of design, business, and creative entrepreneurship. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design from ArtCenter College of Design, Do founded Blind, a motion design studio based in Los Angeles. He established Blind in a highly competitive creative market, initially navigating early challenges in business development and client acquisition through trial and error and mentorship. Blind generated over $80 million in creative services, collaborating with brands such as Nike, Sony, Google, Microsoft, and Xbox, and received major industry recognition, including an Emmy Award. The Television Academy recognizes Do as an Emmy winner in the role of art director for "Heart of Stone" on VEVO.com.

Building on the success of Blind, Do focused on democratizing business education for creative professionals. He founded The Futur, an online education platform dedicated to teaching creative entrepreneurship, branding, and business strategy. The Futur has grown to serve millions of creatives across more than 190 countries and has built a substantial YouTube community. Do is recognized for his expertise in the business of design, value-based pricing, branding, negotiation, and creative business management.

Do is also an author and thought leader. His book "Pocket Full of Do" compiles over two decades of insights on entrepreneurship, creativity, and philosophy, providing a retrospective on the lessons learned as a creative business owner. In addition to his Emmy recognition, Do has received awards including Effie, Effie Gold, D&AD, and Motion Design honors. His academic contributions include teaching sequential design at ArtCenter College of Design and Otis College of Art and Design.

As a keynote speaker, Do shares insights on branding, sales, pricing, and business strategy at conferences and events worldwide. He has presented at venues such as the AIGA National Design Conference, Birmingham Design Festival, Awwwards New York, San Francisco, Amsterdam, The Design Conference Brisbane, Digital Design Days Milan, Geneva, and MIT Boston. His talks and workshops cover topics including sales, negotiations, value-based pricing, branding, graphic and motion design, social media marketing, entrepreneurship, business management, and client relations. Do serves as chairman of the board for SPJA and as an advisor to Saleshood, and has previously served on advisory boards for AIGA/LA, the Emmys Motion & Title Design Peer Group, Otis Board of Governors, Santa Monica College, and Woodbury University.
