Charles Duhigg

Charles Duhigg is a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist and author known for his work on human behavior, productivity, and communication. A graduate of Yale University and Harvard Business School, Duhigg is the author of "The Power of Habit," which appeared on bestseller lists for more than three years and has been translated into 40 languages, "Supercommunicators," and "Smarter Faster Better." He writes for The New Yorker and previously wrote for The New York Times.

Duhigg led the New York Times team that won the Pulitzer Prize in explanatory journalism for "The iEconomy," a series examining the global economy through the lens of Apple, including investigations into manufacturing practices in China. He has also reported on the financial crisis, corporate practices affecting the elderly, and events in Iraq. His work has been recognized with the George Polk Award, Scripps Howard National Journalism Award, Loeb Award, Investigative Reporters and Editors' Medal, and the National Academies reporting award. Duhigg has also been honored by the Business News Visionary Awards for his contributions to business journalism.

As an author, Duhigg explores the neuroscience of habit formation in "The Power of Habit" and the science of productivity in "Smarter Faster Better."
