Charlamagne Tha God

Charlamagne tha God, born Lenard Larry McKelvey, is a multimedia executive, Radio Hall of Fame inductee, and bestselling author with nearly two decades of experience in television and radio. As co-host of the nationally syndicated radio show "The Breakfast Club," Charlamagne engages millions of listeners daily through candid interviews and commentary. His perspectives and interviews contribute to national conversations on hip-hop, race, society, and politics, often generating headlines and viral moments.

Charlamagne also co-hosts the podcast "Brilliant Idiots" and launched the political podcast network Reasoned Choice Media with Angela Rye and Chris Morrow. He hosted the late-night talk show and variety series "Hell of a Week with Charlamagne tha God" on Comedy Central, executive produced by Stephen Colbert.

In partnership with iHeartMedia, Charlamagne co-founded The Black Effect Podcast Network, a podcast publisher focused on Black listeners and conversations around social justice, pop culture, sports, mental health, news, and comedy. Charlamagne is the author of the New York Times bestseller "Black Privilege: Opportunity Comes to Those Who Create It" and "Shook One: Anxiety Playing Tricks on Me." He established Black Privilege Publishing with Simon & Schuster, which has released several titles, including "Get Honest or Die Lying: Why Small Talk Sucks." His work in mental health advocacy, particularly within the Black community, includes founding the Mental Wealth Alliance, a foundation focused on destigmatizing mental health issues and expanding access to care in the United States.

Through his production company, CThaGod World Productions, Charlamagne develops original content and supports emerging talent in popular culture. His influence extends across radio, podcasting, publishing, and mental health advocacy, shaping public discourse on social justice, politics, culture, and wellness.
