Celia Sandhya Daniels

Celia Sandhya Daniels is a management consultant and LGBTQ+ advocate known for her work in mental health, gender dysphoria, and social inclusion. Raised in a conservative middle-class Christian home in Southern India, Daniels draws on her personal experiences as a transgender woman to address challenges faced in family, work, school, and community settings in both the United States and India.

Daniels has more than 20 years of experience operating, growing, and leading media, healthcare, and life sciences engagements for Fortune 100 companies, including Amgen, Gilead, Genentech, United Health, BlueCross, and Americhoice. As a senior regional executive with organizations such as IQVIA, Capgemini, Cognizant, and Dun & Bradstreet, she has managed global cross-functional teams and implemented enterprise strategies to maximize return on investment for large-scale clients. Daniels holds bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science.

A recognized advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, Daniels works with providers, payers, pharmaceutical companies, and policymakers in the U.S. and South Asia to promote inclusion and acceptance, particularly for transgender individuals. She collaborates with legal teams, employee resource groups, DEI councils, IT, HR, corporate communications, and senior leadership to build consensus and foster inclusive environments. Daniels leverages her personal narrative to encourage organizations to move beyond performative gestures and adopt meaningful change.

Daniels advises on global strategies and leads workshops on leadership trust, inclusive hiring practices, allyship programs, DEI metric reporting, pronoun usage, and self-identification. She addresses health equity and clinical trial access for transgender and gender-expansive patients across diverse communities, including Black, Asian, Hispanic, Native American, Caucasian, and LGBTQ+ populations.

Describing her approach as trans-evangelism, Daniels offers freelance consulting to organizations of all sizes and volunteers with nonprofits, churches, institutions, and community resource groups in the United States and India. She supports marginalized communities by providing safe spaces to address bullying, gender discrimination, medical and behavioral health, mental health, and suicidal ideation.
