Cedric Dale Hoard

Cedric Dale Hoard, MS, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor, speaker, spoken word artist and author known for his ability to integrate mental health, faith and storytelling into transformative experiences. Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Hoard helps individuals and organizations understand the “why behind the what,” empowering them to navigate emotions, relationships and identity with greater clarity and compassion.

Hoard holds a Master of Science degree and is a licensed professional counselor, LPC, with expertise in trauma, attachment, anxiety, depression, addiction and relational dynamics. His approach to healing is holistic, bridging psychological insight, emotional awareness and spiritual formation to move people from survival to wholeness.

As both a clinician and creative, Hoard brings a dynamic and engaging presence to his work. His background in spoken word poetry allows him to communicate complex clinical concepts in ways that are relatable, impactful and memorable. He is the author of "Anchored in Light: Poems and Reflections from the Therapy Office," a collection that blends poetry with therapeutic reflection.

Hoard has spoken and headlined events for a wide range of audiences, including the UWM Male Youth Leadership Summit, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Carroll University Scholar to Student Lecture Series, Medical College of Wisconsin, Social X Immense Wellness Men's Conference, Now Is the Time Conference and the NAMI Southeast Wisconsin Mental Health Walk as a featured headlining speaker. Through his speaking, Hoard creates spaces that are clinically grounded, emotionally engaging and spiritually thoughtful, leaving audiences not only inspired, but equipped with practical tools for healing, growth and deeper self-understanding.
