Catherine Calarco

Catherine Calarco is an executive and thought leader whose career spans digital health, artificial intelligence, and enterprise technology. With more than two decades of leadership experience across the United States, Europe, and Asia Pacific, Calarco has contributed to transformative growth and innovation in human health and performance. Her expertise includes general management, sales and marketing, science and software product development, and change management, establishing her as a recognized voice in both boardrooms and at industry events.

Calarco served as chief marketing officer and senior vice president of sales and marketing for HeartMath LLC, a company focused on improving health, performance, and well-being in both personal and workplace settings. In this role, she led the launch of the "HeartMath Inner Balance Sensor," a mobile biofeedback device that introduced advanced heart rate variability coherence training technology to consumers. She also directed the development of EEG and breath monitoring technology, contributing to HeartMath's leadership in digital health innovation. Earlier in her career, Calarco held executive roles at Applied Biosystems and Thermo Fisher Scientific, where she developed and commercialized products that achieved top market positions, and served as general manager of Biolab New Zealand Ltd and marketing director for Sabre Pacific.

As CEO of Calarco Enterprises, she provided strategic consulting across the technology sector, supporting companies in the Middle East, Europe, and the United States with regional growth and development initiatives. Calarco advised medical and internet companies that secured significant investment funding. She established the Polymer Advisory Council in the United States, representing major chemical companies, and served on the board of directors for the Institute of International Research. Calarco holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, where she also served as a senior lecturer advising CEOs on scaling profitable growth.

Calarco later served as vice president of global go-to-market and innovation evangelism at Automation Anywhere, contributing to the company's growth and valuation. She has held a board director role at Optomed Plc, a company specializing in AI-powered vision screening, focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence in healthcare to improve diagnostic processes for eye diseases such as diabetic retinopathy.
