Catherine Bach is an American actress recognized for her enduring role as Daisy Duke on the CBS series "The Dukes of Hazzard." The family-oriented show featured Bach as the cousin of characters played by John Schneider and Tom Wopat. Her character's signature cut-off denim shorts became a cultural reference, commonly known as "Daisy Dukes." Bach crafted many of the costumes she wore on the series, including the red bikini seen in the opening credits and her well-known cut-off jeans.

She performed in the stage drama "Extremities" at a Florida dinner theater and earned recognition for her role as Margo Dutton in the television series "African Skies."
