Carolyn Karoll

Carolyn Karoll, is a highly accomplished speaker and mental health professional with a Master of Social Work (MSW) and Clinical Mental Health Specialization from the University of Maryland at Baltimore School of Social Work. Graduating in May 2003, she also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Women’s Studies, earning Magna Cum Laude from Towson University in May 1994. Carolyn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S) in Maryland. Furthermore, she is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor in the state.

As the founder of Karoll Counseling, LLC in Baltimore, Maryland, Karoll has been a Psychotherapist exclusively treating eating disorders and body image concerns since 2008. Recognized as a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist Supervisor (CEDS-S) by The International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp) Foundation, she provides a range of therapeutic services and clinical supervision.

In addition to her clinical work, Karoll is an expert blogger for Psychology Today, contributing valuable insights on the topics of eating disorders and body image concerns.
