Brooklin Green

Brooklin Green is a nationally recognized speaker, comedian, professor, and consultant whose career focuses on communication, leadership, and the use of humor in professional development. Green earned a master's degree in communications and leadership from Gonzaga University and has more than 20 years of experience in workshop facilitation, as well as over a decade teaching communications at the university level. She has held adjunct faculty positions at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where she instructed undergraduate courses including Public Speaking, Performance of Literature, Small Group Communication, and Business and Professional Speaking. Green also served as a public speaking instructor and adjunct professor at the University of Mount Olive and as a communications instructor at Coastal Community College.

Green is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory in Chicago. She appeared on A&E television's documentary "The Laugh Track" and on Nick at Nite's "Funniest Mom in America 3." She has also performed in "Tony n' Tina's Wedding," Chicago's longest-running off-Broadway comedy show. As a comedian, her humor spans small-town life, family, and general observation. This background in performance informs her approach to professional development, making her workshops both educational and engaging.

Green consults and teaches communication, team-building improvisation, leadership, and comedy workshops and training for corporations, businesses, and organizations. She has written advertising commercials for radio, TV, and print, and has coached and written material for speakers, including TED talks, and stand-up comedians. Green has been a guest artist for the Educational Theatre Association for more than 12 different state festivals and the International Thespian Festival for over 10 years. Her events include international conferences for the Society for Humor Studies, Boston University, and the Applied Improv Network in Vancouver, Canada.
