Brendan Kiely, a New York Times bestselling author, is well-known for his diverse body of work, which includes "Sole Survivor," "All American Boys," "Tradition," "The Last True Love Story," and "The Gospel of Winter". His books, which have been translated into over a dozen languages, span various genres and touch on complex social issues. Notably, his collaboration with Jason Reynolds on "All American Boys" delves into contemporary racial tensions, highlighting his ability to tackle challenging topics with sensitivity and insight.

Kiely's talent as an author has been recognized through several prestigious awards, including the Coretta Scott King Author Honor Award and the Walter Dean Myers Award.
