Brenda Epperson-Moore

Brenda Epperson-Moore is best known for her role as Ashley Abbott on the CBS daytime soap opera "The Young and the Restless," which gave her international recognition as she captivated audiences daily for over eight years. A talented Sony/Tri Star recording artist, she opened for Lionel Richie during his European tour. Her music has been featured in several theatrically released films.

As the founder and speaker at Ascend Women for eight years, Epperson-Moore tirelessly invested in women's lives and is dedicated to empowering and igniting people to discover their identity and potential in Christ. Ascend Women was sponsored by the Museum of the Bible, In Touch Ministries, Dr. Charles Stanley, and LA Dream Center, among others. She shared her vision for a women's conference under a divine directive: "women would be saved, set free, and His name glorified." Epperson-Moore has shared the stage with powerhouse women such as CeCe Winans, Lisa Osteen Comes, April Osteen, and Caroline Barnett of the LA Dream Center.

Featured on the covers of TV Guide and Women’s World and in People magazine, Epperson-Moore is also the author of the book "Rise Up!" Her work encourages readers to rise beyond limits, break out of bondage, identify what holds them back, and walk in joy. Her podcast, Morning Cup of Faith, co-hosted with Shelly Meyers, focuses on building faith and finding identity and purpose. She has appeared in various theatrical films and on BET Plus television, spoken and led worship in churches across the country, both large and small. As the owner of a thriving entertainment production supply company, she has been married for over 20 years and is the proud mother of three beautiful daughters.
