Boss Lady Mae

Mae Merriweather, also known as Boss Lady Mae, is a bestselling author, independent filmmaker, professional ghostwriter, and business consultant with a career spanning more than two decades. Merriweather has written professionally for over 25 years, including 18 years as a ghostwriter for books, television and movie scripts, stage plays, documentaries, and commercials. Throughout her career, she has written six screenplays, 10 stage plays, four documentaries, two television shows, three sitcoms, hundreds of articles, more than 165 e-books as a ghostwriter, and eight books under her own name. Merriweather has also worked as a business consultant for more than 30 years, providing services to entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses.

Merriweather's literary work covers a wide range of genres and audiences. Her first self-published book, "Single Ladies Wait on Your Boaz," is a Christian romance inspired by the biblical story of Ruth and Boaz. She gained a loyal following with "The Boss Ladies, Book 1," and continued the series with "The Boss Ladies, Book II." Merriweather also authored "A Modern Day Jezebel Saved by Grace," a spiritual romance. Her children's book, "The Enchanting Tales of Marley, Carley, and Zahara," expands her reach to younger readers.

As a filmmaker, Merriweather has contributed to the film and television industry as a creator, executive producer, and scriptwriter. Her projects include "The Barkays' Biopic-Documentary Series," "The Boss Ladies Movie," "The Boss Ladies TV Series," "A Modern Day Jezebel," and "The McCray Family of New York City TV Series." Merriweather is the founder and chief operating officer of Wild Media Group, the parent company of BMFG Films, Wild Consulting Firm, Wild Media Group Publishing, and other ventures, including Women's Leadership Network and HBOSS ATL Magazine.

In addition to her creative work, Merriweather is an advocate for women and an experienced public speaker. She founded Boss Ladies on the Move, which later became Women's Leadership Network. With more than 25 years of public speaking experience, Merriweather has led workshops, trade shows, seminars, webinars, and hosted concerts, fundraising galas, and conferences. As a keynote speaker, she addresses topics such as authorship, entrepreneurship, finance, nonprofit leadership, strategic leadership, and women in business. After a period away from the public eye due to illness, Merriweather returned to her work in writing, filmmaking, and advocacy, demonstrating resilience and a continued commitment to empowering others in the fields of publishing, film, and women's leadership.
