Bob Nelson

Dr. Bob Nelson is recognized for his expertise in employee recognition, motivation, and engagement. He serves as president of Nelson Motivation Inc., a management training and consulting company that assists organizations in improving management practices, programs, and systems. Nelson's methodologies are based on extensive fieldwork with leading companies, focusing on making employee recognition a consistent practice in the workplace. He holds an MBA in organizational behavior from UC Berkeley and a PhD in management education from Claremont Graduate University, where he studied with Peter F. Drucker at Claremont Graduate University in Los Angeles.

Nelson is the author of more than 30 books, including "1001 Ways to Reward Employees," "1501 Ways to Reward Employees," "The 1001 Rewards & Recognition Fieldbook," "1001 Ways to Energize Employees," and "Managing for Dummies."
