Blake LeVine

Blake LeVine, MSW, is a bestselling author, life coach, entrepreneur, and mental health advocate who has focused his career on destigmatizing bipolar disorder and expanding access to mental health education. LeVine holds a master's degree in social work from Adelphi University and works as a consultant for global corporations and organizations on improving mental health in the workplace. As a survivor of bipolar disorder, LeVine brings personal experience to his work as an author, speaker, and coach in the mental health field.

LeVine is the author of the book "Beating Bipolar," published by Hay House. His work addresses the challenges of managing bipolar disorder and provides guidance for living a fulfilling life while navigating mental health conditions. LeVine has also written "Depression, Bipolar and Heroin" and "The Depression Diet." He authored "The Psychology of Adult Coloring," published by Skyhorse, which explores the psychological reasons adults engage in coloring and reached the top ten in the United States.

LeVine developed Rap Therapy, a therapeutic practice that teaches inner-city youth to write hip hop songs, dance, and create art as a form of self-expression. He created the documentary "Rap Therapy" with The Salvation Army, highlighting a six-week program that uses music, poetry, and dance to support youth mental health. LeVine has worked with homeless populations in New York City, foster-care children, and families affected by bipolar disorder, and has maintained a private practice.

LeVine has shared his experiences with mental illness on television, YouTube, and at organizations, companies, and events. His mental health education efforts include a national tour with Dr. Drew Pinsky, teaching college students about bipolar disorder. His speaking engagements have included chapters of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance, Eli Lilly, the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission, and The Salvation Army.

LeVine founded Bipolar Online, an online magazine focused on depression, bipolar disorder, and addiction, offering articles, educational talks, and video coaching for individuals seeking mental health support. Through his platform, books, and coaching practice, LeVine provides mental health education and resources, emphasizing the importance of therapy, medication, and support groups for those living with bipolar disorder. His work continues to contribute to mental health awareness and education, combining professional expertise with personal experience.
