Ashley K. Stoyanov Ojeda is a first-generation Latina business strategist and facilitator with Mexican and French-American roots, born and raised in Queens. She is the author of the first Spanglish business book and entrepreneurial guide "Jefa in Training," and co-author of "The Book of Awesome Latinas."
Through her consultancy The Reframe, she designs and leads trauma-informed programs for under-resourced entrepreneurs and leaders, and advises organizations and corporations on community, marketing and communications from a multicultural lens, specializing in consumer trust and the intersection of community engagement and sales pipeline growth. Having studied and completed the Trauma of Money certification, she understands the importance of building rooms where everyone can go at their own pace and teaching frameworks that meet participants in their actual circumstances rather than assuming access, wealth networks, or a business education. She also works as an ongoing thought partner to leaders building without inherited networks, capital, and access.
She has led sessions for the Latine ERGs at Google, Adidas, PepsiCo Frito-Lay, and Qualtrics, and workshops for summits and student programming at FIU, Montclair State University's Women Entrepreneurship Week, and Baruch College. She has developed bilingual programming for entrepreneurial and leadership communities, hosted sold-out retreats, and through consulting partnerships with non-profit and government organizations helps people with the least access, launch businesses and secure funding.
Her community-building journey started as her first venture out of college when she grew #WomxnCrush Music into a national community of 10,000+ women and nonbinary songwriters with no funding in 2016, which led her to create the Jefa in Training ecosystem in 2022, which builds community and resources for Latina entrepreneurs through The Jefa in Training Circle and the recently launched media platform, Entre Nosotras.
Her work has been featured in Business Insider, Nasdaq, Telemundo, People en Español, Remezcla, Refinery29, mitú, and BeLatina, and she was named Latinx to Watch by Hispanic Executive. She writes essays on identity, culture, motherhood, chronic illness, ambition, and reinvention, and publishes three newsletters: The Reframe, Holding Multitudes, and Awesome Latinas, co-written with Mirtle Peña-Calderón.
Stoyanov Ojeda's mission is to create resources and opportunities for the under-resourced, and to help people feel seen, see what's possible, and not be afraid to pave their own path.
