Arsema Thomas Biography
Breakout actress Arsema Thomas has captured audiences globally with her lead role as ‘Lady Agatha Danbury’ in Netflix’s “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.” Written and produced by Shonda Rhimes, this is a prequel to the hit “Bridgerton” series following the story of the young queen's marriage to King George of England ushers in an epic love story and transforms high society.
She spent six years in school before pursuing her acting career studying biophysics and public health. She has earned a degree in Biological Sciences from Carnegie Mellon University, a Masters in Public Health Policy from Yale University, and a Masters of Fine Arts in Professional Acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.
Thomas was born of a Nigerian father and Ethiopian mother in Atlanta, Georgia, but has lived most of her life across sub-Saharan Africa (Uganda, Kenya, Togo and Benin). She currently resides in the UK.
