Angella Wynn

Angella Wynn is an author, speaker, and advocate whose life story is rooted in both resilience and purpose. A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she was educated at Southern University, one of the state's historically Black colleges and universities. From early on, Wynn wore many hats—teacher, mentor, songwriter, recording artist, and faith-driven leader. Her broad range of experiences laid the groundwork for a career dedicated to empowering others.

Wynn’s personal journey has been marked by significant adversity—and how she transformed it into advocacy. At just 12 years old she lost her mother, an early loss that weaved a deep sense of faith and perseverance into her character. Later in life she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a chronic disease that altered her mobility and vision. Rather than retreating, she embraced self-education about MS and became a vocal advocate for those living with the condition.

In her work as an author, Wynn channels both her faith and lived experience. Her book "Fix My Smile: Ashton’s Story" emerged out of a desire to share hope, healing, and transformation—not only for herself but for others walking difficult roads. Her mission is to help individuals reclaim their narratives, rewrite their storylines, and live in the fullness of their calling despite illness, loss, or challenge.

Today, Wynn continues to speak publicly—drawing from her decades of marriage and motherhood, her creative and educational roles, and her journey with MS—to encourage audiences to push past limitations. She embraces the mantra that a diagnosis does not define one’s destiny. With a focus on faith, wellness, and self-actualization, Wynn stands as a voice of empowerment: reminding people that they can thrive, not just survive.
