Andy Brandy Casagrande IV, widely known by his initials ABC, is a two-time Emmy Award-winning wildlife cinematographer, field producer, and television presenter recognized for his work documenting ocean predators. A specialist in wildlife and adventure documentaries, Casagrande has built a career capturing the planet's most extraordinary creatures on film. With more than 150 wildlife film credits, he has filmed, produced, and presented for major networks including National Geographic, Discovery, Disney, and BBC. He earned Outstanding Cinematography Emmy Awards, establishing his reputation in natural history filmmaking.

Casagrande graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in biology, motivated by a lifelong interest in apex predators. After a brief period in the tech industry, he transitioned to wildlife filmmaking by sending a job-seeker video to white shark research teams. The White Shark Trust in South Africa offered him a position as an underwater stills photographer, leading him to Cape Town, where he worked as a research cameraman collecting video data on great white shark population dynamics. His professional filmmaking career began when National Geographic, impressed by his footage, offered him a staff position.

At National Geographic, Casagrande distinguished himself through technical innovation and creative vision. He utilizes advanced camera technologies, including super-slow motion, thermal-infrared, night-vision, and remote-controlled cameras, to reveal the hidden lives of ocean predators. He has worked as an associate producer with National Geographic on two films with Dr. Jane Goodall. His credits include projects such as "Shark Night," "Untamed Americas," and "Cosmic Journeys," and he has contributed to seven Shark Week specials for Discovery Channel. Casagrande later established his own production company, ABC4Explore, producing wildlife documentaries, feature films, and television commercials.

Casagrande is also a marine conservationist, involved in initiatives with organizations such as Shark Angels, Shark Savers, WildAid, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, Oceana, and Pew Environment Group. He is a member of the Sea Legacy Collective, a community focused on ocean conservation. Alongside his wife Emma, he filmed underwater sequences for "Paradise Reef," a documentary about artificial reef installation off the coast of Collier County, which received a Suncoast Regional Emmy Award in the tropical documentary category.
