Amy Trask

Amy Trask is recognized as the first female chief executive of a National Football League team, serving as CEO of the Raiders for nearly three decades. Trask began her career with the Raiders as a law school intern before joining the organization full-time, ultimately becoming the NFL's first female front office executive and later its CEO. In this role, she oversaw all business operations, including sponsorship agreements, media contracts, stadium rights, and represented the team at league meetings. Under her leadership, the Raiders secured four division championships and one AFC championship.

Trask's approach to leadership in the male-dominated sports industry has been noted for its directness and resolve. She has addressed gender-based challenges by focusing on her responsibilities and performance, emphasizing that she would not be distracted by others' perceptions of her gender.

Following her tenure with the Raiders, Trask transitioned into sports broadcasting. She has served as a studio analyst for CBS Sports Network and CBS Sports, appearing on "That Other Pregame Show," as a panelist on "We Need to Talk," and contributing to "The NFL Today." Trask also co-hosts the podcast "What the Football." In addition to her broadcasting work, she served as CEO and later chairman of the board for BIG3, a professional 3-on-3 basketball league.

Trask is the author of "You Negotiate Like a Girl: Reflections on a Career in the National Football League," in which she discusses her experiences and strategies for success in sports business. She serves on the advisory board of directors for the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission and the East West Shrine Bowl Advisory Team.

Trask has received industry recognition, including the WISE Woman of the Year Award from Women in Sports and Events, the Campanile Excellence in Achievement Award from the UC Berkeley Foundation and the Cal Alumni Association, and the Top Women in Media Award from Cynopsis Media. She was named one of the top 100 Greatest Game Changers in NFL history.
