Amber Capone is a trailblazing changemaker, nationally recognized for her unapologetic advocacy, breakthrough vision, and unwavering dedication to veteran mental health and family resilience. As Co-Founder and CEO of Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions (VETS), Capone has scaled her impact into a globally respected nonprofit powerhouse, pioneering access to innovative, evidence-based therapies—including psychedelic-assisted care—for warriors battling PTSD and traumatic brain injury.

Following her husband Marcus's demanding 13-year career as a U.S. Navy SEAL, Capone confronted the raw reality of post-military transition—a personal journey that ignited a national movement. In 2019, she co-founded the muliti-national charity VETS, and transformed it from grassroots roots into a category-defining organization, now operating with a $6.5 million annual budget and earning Charity Navigator's prestigious 100% rating as one of the top four charities out of 225,000 nationwide.

Capone's record speaks volumes: she has raised over $50 million in capital, funded treatment grants for more than 1,200+ veterans and families, and led historic legislative victories—helping pass game-changing bills like Texas House Bill 1802, H.R. 3684 (Douglas Mike Day Act), Section 723 of the NDAA 2024, and California Assembly Bill 2841. Her fierce advocacy helped launch the Texas Ibogaine Initiative and she stands as Chair of the VALOR Coalition, a first-of-its-kind alliance uniting veteran organizations, policymakers, and scientific leaders to confront the suicide epidemic and drive a new era for brain health in America.
